Michelle is a bilingual ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist licensed in California, with a Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University. She has worked with children across a range of settings including multidisciplinary clinics, outpatient hospitals, early childhood programs, public and private schools, and family homes. Michelle is trained in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), and Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) for Gestalt Language Processors (GLP). She offers services in both English and Korean.

Michelle’s passion for speech therapy began at a young age when she had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities and communication challenges. She was deeply moved by the barriers they faced in expressing themselves, sharing their likes and dislikes, telling their unique stories, and communicating freely with others. Moments like hearing a child’s first word, seeing them form a connection through language, or learning about communication breakthroughs from families have reaffirmed that this is exactly where she is meant to be. Children continue to be Michelle’s greatest inspiration. Speech therapy allows her to share her knowledge and skills in a meaningful way while providing the high-quality care that every child deserves.

Outside of work, she enjoys soaking up the sun, trying new recipes, and staying active. She looks forward to getting to know your family and supporting your child’s communication in a way that feels meaningful and lasting.
